Officially Autumn

We wrapped up what was probably our last fishing trip for the year a week ago — just in time for the boys of September to play, and we’re not talking football.

Bulls are bugling and the nights are getting longer. Cooler temps are becoming more frequent each night. Fishing for the elusive browns here on the Blackfeet Nation is doing its fall thing too, but this is not the same fishing as spring rainbows. In a sense, it’s a hunt all its own — and in the fall you’ll likely have the place to yourself.

As the hunting and fishing progress through their respective seasons and phases, we’ll keep you posted on what’s going on in our neck of the woods. With that — good luck in whatever your adventure!
